Oil Paintings are executed in extremely rapid fashion. Wood
paints either in a studio or en plein air as in the manner of the Impressionist painters of the late nineteenth century.
These works are primarily done within a matter of hours, and then retouched during a three to four week drying period.
In the last 8 years, Wood has explored Impressionism, Expressionism, Cubism, and Regionalism. Here are a few samples
